This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
An art school dropout, I never finished my last year. Everybody said it was a bad idea, but for me it was a matter of principle. Most of the artists I admire, were dropouts or rejects. They where my examples and as such, I felt it was important to be a dropout myself. It's in the same spirit that others feel it is important to have a degree - it was a conscious choice.
After leaving college, I worked as an assistant for a local art photographer. I enjoyed my time and found this an invaluable experience. I did a night course in Economy And Business Management, for which I received a certificate. I ventured on to become a business owner - the first ever specialized video games shop in my city. Unfortunately, after several years I closed the shop, as it wasn't economically viable anymore.
I've had various jobs ever since, but nothing long term, or satisfying. I still seek that dream job, where I can utilise my creative skills - graphics, music, photography, film, design....
